Accurate Home Care is generously sponsoring the 2010 Camp Get-A-Well-A Camp. Accurate Home Care employees will be volunteering as the Camp Counselors for the weeks activities. Accurate Home Care is a Minnesota provider of home care services for pediatrics, adolescents, adults and seniors. Monday August 2nd
6:30 - 7:30 PM A visit from the Minnesota Zoo
Tuesday August 3rd
10:00 AM - Noon Bug Hunt and Bug Craft
6:30 to 7:30 PM Stories around the campfire with Katie Knutson & Making Fuzzy Fleece Pillows
Wednesday August 4th
10:00 AM- Noon Decorate a beach bucket
6:30 - 7:30 PM Design a Spray Art Pillowcase
Thursday August 5th
10:00 AM- Noon Make a Sandy Beach Picture Frame
6:30 - 7:30 PM Camp Bingo
Friday August 6th
10:00 am- Noon Decorate a Water Bottle

Camp Get-A-Well is proud to partner with Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare.

Camp Get-A-Well-A began partnering with Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare in 2007. We started with a 6-day camp and is now running programming year round. At Gillette Children's Camp Get-A-Well-A not only serves the inpatients in the hospital, but the children in the clinic waiting rooms.

Thank you so much for bringing your fun camp to our patients! Your activities were so fun and creative, and most importantly, they included ALL of our kids! A majority of the kids at our hospital have disabilities, and they are not always able to attend camp because of their high medical needs and frequent hospitalizations. By bringing your camp to our hospital, our patients were able to be a part of something that allowed them (and their parents and siblings!) to feel like just a regular kid. Our kids were PROUD that they were able to go to camp, and wore their camp shirts to prove it! Your camp not only means so much to our patients, but also to their parents.

Having a child in the hospital is very stressful for a parent, especially when their child is upset or is in pain. The camp activities gave our patients something to look forward to, and they gave them the opportunities to socialize with other kids, be creative, and laugh! Our parents appreciated this so much!
